Guild Wars 2 stress test IS GO…..come on….come…oooooooooon….OH GODS STUCK ON 95% Y U NO FINISH AAAAAAAAAAAAH.
Man i watched these guys all the time when i played Guild Wars back in the day. I hope they come back for Guild Wars 2.
While this blog was created to host mostly Guild Wars 2 content, there are some classic things that I want to post from the Guild Wars 1 fandom, simply because they are fun and should not be forgotten. The series of videos created by the Kryta Bomber is one.
I’m not quite sure how these…
Oh gods i remember these, i watched “Heeding The Call” so many times.
This is all too funny. Scuse me while I hop on the bandwagon.
make waaay!
oh they’re so cute
Sorry to anyone who doesn’t care about this ship, it’s become my obsession of the day, apparently.
This ship only gets better and better.
Fighting games.
ok can i ask something. WHY. i just spent almost an hour playing skullgirls trying to beat that boss and i just had to give up. i was tired. I could barely feel my fingers or my arm for that matter, and it’s getting late. That boss has to be the most annoying thing i have fought since the boss from Dead or alive 4.
Long range attacks. unblockable combos out of nowhere, grabs from underneath you and small spamming skull attacks you can barely block or see because you dont know if the skulls are the attacks or her outfit. And then theres the three stages where the later stages has a fast moving hard hitting shadow and the last stage has her freaking flying so fewer of your attacks hit. She is one hard BI—-H to beat. but i will get her one day.
But this got me thinking of why so many bosses in fighting games are supernatural, teleporting, long range, hits-like-a-buss-filled-with-C4 monsters. DoA 3 and 4, Some Tekken games. MvC and street fighter and i bet many more.
I understand the thrill of a hard fight but sometimes it seems a bit unfair to fight basically a god that sends lasers/comets/skulls/all of the above from the other side of the map when you are a guy/girl who needs to be up close.
There’s that and then there’s a small nitpick. Why no save. Why can’t you save or save your spot in these games, if you are tired and/or can’t feel your right arm because of button mashing or pulling combos you want to take a break or just quit so you can sleep. But if you quit you have to start all the way back at the beginning. And in most of these games the people/animals/monsters/large-breasted ladies you fight are almost or just as hard as the boss itself. When i played Skullgirls the first enemy i met juggled my ass like it was her freaking birthday, took me five tries and couple of trips to the training area to beat her.
And don’t get me started om DoA 4, i decided at a time to play everyone’s story so that i could unlock all the characters, that was the most aggravating time in my life and i swear i will never go do that again.
yea i know a small thing but it would be nice that if you were at the end boss you could save that spot to tackle later withoug having to have the console on in the meantime.
Sorry for the slight rant but that game got me in a mood and i thought i could use this blog to vent a bit. Now i’m going to bed, sleep, go to work, get home AND BEAT THE SKULLGIRL WITHIN AN INCH OF HER LIFE freaking minionthrowing cheap little BI####.
